Downtown Newhall Plan Garners ERA Best Practice Award
Los Angeles, CA- ERA was honored by the Los Angeles Chapter of the American Planning Association (APA) with the Planning Excellence in Best Practice Award for the firm’s contribution to the development of the Downtown Newhall Specific Plan.
With a team led by Moule and Polyzoides Architects, David Bergman and Amitabh Barthakur of ERA’s economic planning practice provided the City of Santa Clarita with a comprehensive strategy for the redevelopment of the City’s historic core. Their work led to a recently adopted transit oriented district linked by commuter rail to downtown Los Angeles.
